While recording “Remember to Forget,” 4 tunes were left off of the album due to time constraints. Now that the album is almost a year old, I thought it would be a great time to go back and finally finish recording these songs. I feel that there’s some great material in here, and I’m so happy that it’s finally seeing the light of day.
One of the most significant things about this EP is the fact that it features drum tracks from the original 2009 sessions, which had to be scrapped due to some technical mishaps that rendered these recordings virtually unusable.
But, with some technical wizardry, Ian Baird was able to miraculously repair the damaged drum tracks.
With the drums resurrected, this gave me the push I needed to finally step back into the studio and, once and for all, give these 4 songs the treatment I felt they deserved all along.
And so, I present to you all, “Remember the Leftovers.”
